Monsters 101
- Ingi guides the kids to find the monster within in a fun and creative way. Ideal workshop for after-school clubs and libraries. > The workshop can be adjusted to fit any given time-frame < Example: 1 Day setup Understanding monsters 101. How do monsters look like? Three eyes? Long teeth? and their personality? - We find the monster within and put it on paper. Pre-made comics that are lacking Monsters. A4 size comic Ingi has made, but is missing the monster – the kids have to draw their monster in the empty space and colour it in. 4 Day setup Day 1: Understanding monsters 101. How do monsters look like? Three eyes? Long teeth? and its personality? - We find the monster within and put it on paper.
Day 2: Our Monster needs a friend! Create our Monster’s counterpart and dip our toes into basic storytelling by making one frame cartoons.
Day 3: Monster Comics! Using our Monster and Friend we venture into their world and create a three frame comic (after getting the basics of how to tell a story with images.)
Day 4: An Monster Assignment!Ingi brings pre-made comics that are lacking Monsters. (A4 size comic Ingi has made, but is missing the drawings of the monsters – the kids have to draw their monster in the empty spaces and then colour it in.)
