Aidan’s Monsters!

Since we’re all about Monsters lately we would like to point our followers to Aidan’s Monster drawings.

Aidan’s story: On September 13, 2010 he was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). He was strong and pulled through his first round of chemo all while teasing his nurses and vistors. Although this was a small victory Aidan, unfortunately, must go through 2 to 3 more years of chemo treatments and everything that goes along with that.

To help with financing his treatment, Aidan and his folks have set up a store with his Monster drawings – please go and check them out!

Monster Madness at St Mary’s Primary

The creative kids at St Mary’s in Long Newton have been helping Doctor Ewill come up with some great monsters. We’ve seen monsters that shoot slime and horrible creepy crawlies that would scare Frankenstein himself! After half term we will continue our Monster Madness and see what Doctor Ewill will come up with next!!

TeesToons ARC comic course.

A whole week of comic making at ARC in Stockton is now behind us and it was a great week indeed for all involved!

The participants gave it their very best and were overflowing with interest and enthusiasm for the ‘comic’ – and I do hope that they keep it up for years to come!

Junction Farm Primary School

We’ve just finished a very pleasant 6 weeks course at Junction Farm Primary School in Eaglescliffe, organized by Club Creative. The kids were extremely enthusiastic about creating cartoons and comics and did some most excellent work.

Wacky Westlands #2 in the making!

The boys at Westlands school in Thornaby are giving it their comic-best and returning with a new Wacky Westlands in a couple of weeks.
There are 2 more sittings to go, and by the looks of it we’re going to be blown away, yet again, by their humour and creativity.
